Compass is the goal setting step in the IntentOne process. Setting goals, especially short term goals, is a powerful method we can use to cause ourselves to push beyond our typical limitations. Goals however, without a supporting framework, are seldom achieved. This part of the process provides goal setting tools surrounded by a framework built from a clear, objective long term outcome, activities designed to consistently move us closer to achievement of the goal and emotional, mindset and persona components that strategically improve our odds of success.
We limit the number of short term goals here to 3 max, with deadlines no less than one week and no more than 90 days from today. This deadline range assures us that the clock for these gains is clearly ticking and ensures that our ability to rationalize procrastination is minimized.
