Our Story
Created out of Necessity
IntentOne began as a lifeline. Founder Ed Mitchell was raised in the foster care system, surviving abandonment, abuse, addiction, and incarceration. Repeatedly caught in cycles of trauma and survival, Ed began recording personalized messages to himself, daily reminders of who he wanted to become and how he could get there.
These early mindset recordings became his anchor. They helped him get sober, stay focused, and rebuild his life, one decision at a time. Over years of refinement and repetition, Ed went from barely surviving to thriving: he became a successful entrepreneur, building multiple businesses and a new identity rooted in purpose. Ed designed the life he wanted to live and turned that vision into his reality.
Now, IntentOne is scaling Ed’s life-changing method. We’ve transformed his recordings into a technology-driven platform that anyone can use. We’re now focused on bringing this tool back to the very communities Ed came from: people in recovery and those reentering society after incarceration, because transformation should never be a luxury.
